When you contact us from the United States, United Kingdom, European Union, or Oceania, your personal information is transferred to and stored in China, and may also be processed by service providers located in the United States (hosting) and Ireland (WhatsApp).

Where a destination country does not provide an equivalent level of protection to the EU GDPR or UK GDPR, we rely on:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission
  • UK International Data Transfer Addendum for transfers out of the UK
  • Additional safeguards — encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), restricted access, and secure cloud infrastructure

A copy of the safeguards in place is available on request from info@takeawaypack.com.

Our website uses only strictly necessary cookies required for site functionality, session management, and security. These cookies do not track you across sites and do not require consent under the EU ePrivacy Directive or UK PECR.

We do not currently use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking pixels. If we introduce them in the future, we will present a cookie consent banner and this policy will be updated before those cookies load.

You can control cookies through your browser settings.

9. WhatsApp and Messaging

If you contact us through WhatsApp or leave your phone number on our inquiry form, we may reply by WhatsApp or email with quotes, order updates, and shipment tracking. This is part of fulfilling your inquiry, not marketing.

We will not send you marketing messages without your consent. You can stop receiving messages any time by replying STOP, or emailing info@takeawaypack.com.
